I just recorded a video clip of the solo of Repentance by Dream Theater.
It is not hard to play, and there's a couple of tips for you to make it sound better.
1. Vibrato (in time)
2. Half-note bend (in tune)
3. Slur techniques (Hammer on, Pull off, Slide...)
4. 68 time signature
Be laid back, don't rush!!
